One Town One Product (OTOP) is a promotional program of the government of the Philippines. OTOP aims to promote goods and products of Filipino towns, cities, and regions, and provides funding for small businesses. It is administered by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM). ==History== Inspired by the Japanese One Village One Product Movement of 1979, the Philippines' OTOP program was proposed by then-President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo as early as 2002〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://news.google.com/newspapers?id=llY1AAAAIBAJ&sjid=eCUMAAAAIBAJ&pg=528,21211386&dq=one-town-one-product&hl=en )〕 and launched in 2004. The OTOP program was originally scheduled to end in 2010. DBM dropped OTOP funding in spring 2011.
